MLA style is the Modern Language Association style of citations that you will use in (pretty much) all of your English classes. Here are two websites you can look at for more information on MLA and how to use MLA. The first website explains MLA and the second website goes through, in detail, how to use MLA. Beware of websites that allow you to type in information and they put it into the format for you, because they are OFTEN WRONG.

The second website goes over every detail of the MLA style and gives examples. You can see what font and size your paper needs to be in, how to quote sources in your paper, and how to compile your works cited page. YOU MUST follow the MLA style correctly in your LE 2!!!
Another good site is http://www.dianahacker.com. I teach MLA conventions to my college comp class from Hacker’s handbook, but I also use this site when I forget how to enter, say, more than one work from the same anthology or a primary source quoted in a secondary source.
Hey Tanglethis! Thanks so much for the head’s up!!
